Hello people,

I have been moving around a lot lately, and this website and blog has somewhat been forgotten about. Apologies for that, please always keep the main website www.juanzelada.com and www.myspace.com/zeladaband as references.

they are currently being redone and freshened up in many ways to include music to download, all new recordings, online releases, most updated videos and more to come…..so please stay posted to them!

As far as this blog goes, i will be keeping it updated and integrate it into the new websites when they get finished.

we are putting the finishing touches to the album, which has been a unique experience and I feel a very, very priviledged man, I just want you people to hear the songs!

Hello people!!!

stay posted both on www.juanzelada.com and www.myspace.com/zeladaband because all the new gigs will be posted as well as news on the new album thats been finished and mixed as we speak!!!

things have been very exciting and the songs are sounding amazing. I have been simply disconnected from blogging life lately because there were massive things to be worrying about which i won’t bore you about now, but now there’s plenty of light at the end of the tunnel, and there’s exciting things planned in the pipeline!

we will be back gigging in spain very soon!!! (april, may or june time for sure!)

so far madrid and barcelona are possibilities but other options open too.

the album will be finished soon and we’ll be offering “teasers” to fans all around, but official releases not confirmed until further notice i’m afraid!!

hey folks!

Long time no speak i know, forgive my periodic cold wars with the online information highway!

The band has been working hard on the album. After some very successful sessions at metropolis studios last month for the main bulk of the songs that will feature on the album, we have gone back to the studio to rehearse and record new songs that will potentially feature also. These are songs that havent been gigged or anything, so very fresh in our ears but there’s been some promising stuff happening.

i want to post a teaser also of “b side material” that might not make the album but at least should have its seconds of fame on the internet i feel.  The whole process has been full on work but creative, good times with the band and even better times to come to everyone involved.

A bunch of other new songs have also been featured in a Spanish antena 3 television show called “Unicos”, where we played 6 different tracks. We will have streaming of parts of that DVD because the band is sounding tasty!

Gigging has slowed down lately because of the whole recording process, but it will pick up manicly in just a few weeks times, so stay posted!!!

Anyways, summer is alright indeed and things are looking up with the new deal coming through (an independant one) and plenty of exciting stuff to share in the near future.

hello people,

I’ve been on and off the radar lately with things keeping me busy and travels in and around london as well as spain. All is good though, really enjoy the gigs lately, complementing with the heavy studio time we’re spending whilst finishing the exciting sessions we had over at METROPOLIS studios.

The new album keeps taking shape and exciting things are on the horizon, but in the meantime we have to carry on chipping away at creating a good buzz around the project.

Some recent TV and radio shows in spain have gone down amazing.  We are currently putting up parts of the DVD of the ANTENA 3 recording both on the wensite and myspace. Some new songs to check out,  and the band in great form!

breakfast in spitalfields and what do i know, has been featuring in main national radio stations too giving us some nice exposure. Work in progress as usual.

Over here in London, things are all about finishing the recordings, keeping the excitement and joy, whilst enjoying gigs such as the ones next week:

tueday 16th june: THE BEDFORD, 77 bedford hill, balham. 8.30pm. my good friend Lotte Mullan’s 25th birthday party….she’s got a few things to celebrate for sure!

sunday 21st: WESTMILL FARM FESTIVAL (WARE-hertfordshire)…hopefully out in the sun!!! quite a special place amidst the lakes, valleys and fields…in the shire!

Time ahead is looking good and crucial for moving things along.

The recordings are sounding special, the band are sweet as usual, and we all just keep plugging away…
